October, 2011 – Top Junior Catherine "CiCi" Bellis
Captures National Clay Court Championships
Catherine Bellis, 12, ranked #2 in the U.S. in the G12s, wears Rudy Project sunglasses on the court. Catherine, or CiCi as she is known to her friends, is coming off a huge victory at the 2011 National Clay Court Championships in Boca Raton, Florida.
When asked about her game style and her new Rudy Project sunglasses CiCi says: "I am an aggressive, all-court player and I like to finish points with either a swinging volley or volley. Coach Dan Teaches the Volley with Salsa on YouTube
Princeton, NJ - Coach Dan Aronovic released his second free tennis lesson video on the internet today just in time for Wimbledon. His newest video, the Tennis Volley with Salsa, is a short lesson on how to play the net in tennis. It will be followed by a 25 minute tennis lesson for download in the coming week, which provides drills, tactics and winning points. This strategic tennis lesson will require a small fee of $9.95 for download. The Tennis Volley video can be downloaded from the Coach Dan page.
“The volley has become a 'lost art' in tennis, with most pro players slamming the ball from the backcourt”, Coach Dan said. “But as Wimbledon shows us, more players will come to net because of the low bounce on grass. My volley instruction is modeled on the classic volleys of players like Billie Jean King, Stan Smith, Margaret Court and John Newcombe. I wanted to pass on this lost art of the volley to the current generation”.

March 1, 2011 – Top ranked 12 year old in Utah Chooses OTZ Band Dampeners
Winchester VA - Jonathan Dollahite, the top ranked 12 year old in Utah has chosen to play with OTZ band dampeners on his racquets. August 2010 - Top Players at European Junior Davis Cup Qualifier Use OTZ Band Dampeners
Seven teams from Austria, Belarus, Ukraine, Serbia, Poland, Bulgaria and Israel competed to advance to the European Junior Davis Cup Final in France.
The two teams from Serbia and Israel emerged victorious from the competition. Serbian Pedja Krstin, age 16, the #3 ranked player in Europe used a yellow OTZ band on his racquet (see photo). In addition, the top two players from the Belarus team, which came in third place, used OTZ bands.

February 2008 - Maria Sharapova Picks Up OTZ Band Dampeners at Fed Cup Match Between Russia and Israel
While at the recent Fed Cup Match between Russia and Israel, Australian Open Winner, Maria Sharapova received several OTZ Band Dampeners for evaluation purposes. Since she turned pro Maria has used band dampeners on all her racquets.
Maria easily won her matches against Shahar Peer and Tsippi Obzweiler and the Russian team went on to beat Israel 4 -1. Sharapova served well and consistently hit winners from both sides of the court. In addition, it appeared Maria thoroughly enjoyed herself on the sidelines, heartily cheering on her Russian teammates in the face of a noisy Israeli home crowd.
This was the first time Maria has put on the Russian national uniform and played for her country. In last year's Fed Cup final between Russia and Italy in Moscow, Sharapova helped out the team as a practice partner, not being able to serve due to injury.
